Holidays on Vir can be really interesting and relaxing. The island of Vir is also the perfect choice for mountain-biking. Starting from Vir, there are various excursions to national parks on offer: Paklenica with its impressive canyons, the Kornati archipelago with 200 islands and islets, the Krka waterfalls and the famous Plitvice lakes. In the immediate vicinity, there is also the old Croatian royal city of Nin, with the smallest cathedral in the world (the cathedral of the Holy Cross), and the 3000 years old city of Zadar with its famous sea organ, and its city core rich in historical monuments.
